March Madness + April Showers
Between now and Easter, voters need to see on broadcast TV that Corey O’Connor will do the bidding of his largest donors. Now Trump donors, MAGA donors, and real estate tycoons are bankrolling his campaign, and Trump’s ad makers are working with Corey O’Connor to defeat progressive Ed Gainey.
The first priority is for voters who watch broadcast channels to see three ads at maximum volume about Corey O’Connor that all show how big developers, real estate tycoons, MAGA donors, and Trump consultants are trying to buy the Mayor’s office for Corey O’Connor.
Voters need to see:
- That Corey O’Connor has taken nearly $100,000 from the worst real estate developers and predatory landlords. He admitted to holding a closed-door big money fundraiser with real estate executives that brought in $90,000 alone and even took maximum contributions from Walnut Capital executives. Now, O’Connor has taken a position to oppose Gainey’s citywide affordable housing plan, saying that neighborhoods should be able to opt out of having affordable housing.1, 2
- That Corey O’Connor attended a secret event hosted by one of Trump’s top Pennsylvania consultants where an ad-maker that Trump paid $1.4 million during 2024 laid out “the plan to win this race.”3 There is even email evidence of O’Connor attending this meeting with Trump’s political consultants. Now, Corey O’Connor has taken more than $130,000 in campaign cash from MAGA Republican mega-donors – making up 20% of his January fundraising alone.4
- In May, voters should see on broadcast a summary of the negative messages about Corey O’Connor.
The time is NOW to make sure voters know throughout all communications that MAGA ADVISORS, MAGA REPUBLICAN DONORS, AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS ARE UNITING IN A COALITION TO ELECT COREY O’CONNOR.
Communications should show hard evidence of Corey’s donations and positions, including documentation, emails, tweets, and other evidence that makes it impossible for O’Connor to lie about knowing the facts.
The second priority, only after the first priority is completed, should be for voters – especially voters under 50 – to see and read online…
